Colton Hargrove was born and raised in Rockwall, TX, and started playing ice hockey at the age of 4. He attended Western Michigan University on a Division 1 Hockey Scholarship for three years, studying Communications. Following his junior year, he left school to sign his first Entry Level NHL Contract with the Boston Bruins. Colton played three years in the American Hockey League with the Providence Bruins and one year with the Texas Stars. He then traveled to Europe to play professionally in Bolzano, Italy, and Szekesfehervar, Hungary, for two years before taking a year off due to injuries. In 2022, Colton obtained his Texas Real Estate License and decided to return to hockey. He signed a contract with the Allen Americans of the ECHL and is now in his third season as Captain of the team. In addition to playing professional ice hockey, Colton is also a member of the 5H Real Estate Group with INC Realty in the DFW area.
